At AFP Transformers, we provide unique custom transformer solutions for 600 V to 34.5 kV voltage class transformer applications. Our expertise covers a diverse range of industries and includes specialty designs for niche applications. Most transformers we manufacture range from 100 VA to 2,500 kV and inductors vary from the milliamp range to 10,000 amps. Virtually every aspect of a transformer including material, configuration, and enclosure type can be customized to meet a given application. Typical specialty products include phase-shifting, control power (CPT), drive isolation, and K-factor transformers. These specialty designs can overcome specific concerns such as harmonic compensation, multiple operating frequency spectrums, unique impedance levels, and complex output requirements.

Our customers touch nearly every industry and include utility companies, medical facilities, data centers, and multiple original equipment manufacturers. A variety of stock designs are readily available and our engineers can develop modified units for completely custom designs. Lead times average 3 to 6 weeks and are dependent on the specific transformer design and production volume. Expedited orders can be processed in as little as one week.
